Whether you are brand new to the church thing or you’ve been around church for a while; we want to say welcome! Our goal at IBT is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter God in the midst of your life. When you come to IBT on a weekend, our aim is that you would be inspired by the music, challenged by the message, welcomed by our amazing community of people & be reminded that God’s grace is here!
 
 
Who  We Are
Here’s the deal, Indianapolis Baptist Temple cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. IBT is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.
Where  We Come From
The Indianapolis Baptist Temple was founded in 1950, by George Young. Since then, IBT has been about being truly  welcoming to everyone; a place where everyone has a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. In 2015, Matt Roller became the 4th pastor of IBT. 
Where  We Are Headed
What’s the bottom line? More than ever, IBT is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. As we move forward as a church family, creating belonging remains at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
