Matt is a graduate of Freedom Seminary in Okeechobee, FL and is currently studying for a Masters in Theology degree from Louisiana Baptist University. Matt has been Lead Pastor since 2016, taking over for Rev. Greg Dixon. Matt’s wife, Bekah, has been a member of IBT since 1987 and conducts ladies Bible studies, helps in the church office and serves in many other capacities as well. Matt and Bekah have three children, as well as one Grandchild on the way. 

He served 11 years at Beth Haven Baptist Church in Walnut Grove, MO as Youth Director/Associate Pastor and Interim Pastor. Pastor Hunsley joined the Indianapolis Baptist Temple staff in August 1985. He served with Dr. Dixon from August 1985-1996 as an Assistant Pastor. He continued to serve with Rev. Greg Dixon from 1996-2015 as membership pastor and maturity pastor. He continues to serve with Rev. Matt Roller from as the Member Care Pastor and serving with the Senior Saints. His ministry also includes hospital and sick and shut in visitation, and teaching small groups, & adult Sunday School class. Ellery and his wife Jeannie have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. 

Cole has attended IBT since 2020 and has been the youth pastor here since 2021. He started in a internship position leading the young adults and is still active in that ministry. He also leads our VBS and assists with other events as needed. 

Cole graduated with his bachelors from Heritage Baptist College in Franklin, IN. He married his wife, Brittany, in 2022. Brittany now serves in the youth group alongside Cole, as well as in the IBT Sisters ministry.
